FP001 is the first advance in an aural assault,
the shock force for a confrontation
with musical complacency.

While neither track exceeds the 3:30 mark,
any allusions to an industry standard
would be misleading.
The Eden/F'dust split single is anything but.
Both songs are short-burst of sonic warfare,
aimed at once at disarming
and captivating the audience.

Each takes in a broad range of influence,
from hardcore and no wave
to psych and math rock.
But FP001 sees those genres dismembered,
their remains
wrought into new contortions.

The split single marks the meeting of two bands
defined by their iconoclasm,
united in an ethic of independence
and an aesthetic of experimentation.
FP001 is a shared statement of intent and
sign of things to come.
